I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Doctorate in Education in Counseling Psychology from Argosy University. I have been working in the field since 2008 and as a counselor since 2012. I have experience working in corrections, residential and IOP eating disorder treatment, outpatient treatment, and crisis evaluations at hospitals, in the community, and in a walk-in clinic.
My focus is helping each client live the life that they choose. I provide individual sessions to adults, teens, and tweens, drawing from a variety of techniques including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, person centered, and solution focused treatment. I have six years of experience working with a variety of different issues and populations. I look forward to helping you live a happier and healthier life. I work well with individuals struggling with symptoms of depression, anxiety, poor self-esteem, trauma, substance use, life transitions, difficult relationships, and individuals coping with chronic illness. I work from a strength based perspective, recognizing each individual’s resiliency and capabilities.
On a personal level I enjoy reading, playing games, spending time with friends and family, and playing with my dogs.
