I am a licensed clinical social worker with over 10 years’ experience working in the human services field. The majority of my experience has been supporting both children and their families and I currently practice social work in a few different arenas including educational social work and psychotherapy. I received both my undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Denver and I am now an Adjunct Professor with the University of Denver in the Graduate School of Social Work.
I love to work with all ages, and have experience working with victims of domestic violence in a number of areas as they seek safety and support. I believe in giving my clients a safe space to explore their reality and set realistic goals for themselves. Additionally, I like to incorporate tools for mind and body connection and awareness to help with healthy responses to stressful events. My previous experience has given me extensive knowledge of the dependency and neglect court process and the truancy court process. I also have experience collaborating with the juvenile justice system as well as working with the Department of Human Services.
