I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Northern Colorado. I have worked as a therapist, a caseworker with the Department of Human Services and as a clinical consultant collaborating with Guardian ad items representing children in both dependency & neglect and juvenile delinquency cases. Throughout my time as a mental health clinician I have worked alongside adolescents, families and adults implementing psychotherapy methods to instill self-understanding, communication between family members and encouraging clients to adopt new attitudes and feelings towards life situations.
I believe in the partnership of clinician and client to develop realistic goals to work towards personal growth through the use of therapy modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Client Centered Therapy. If you find yourself struggling with anxiety, depression, or relationship issues, we can work together to formulate a plan to support your goals and growth in these areas.
In my free time, I enjoy visiting different parts of Colorado with my family, traveling, yoga, snowboarding and hikes with my dogs.
