Psychotherapist Job Description- Centennial and Castle Rock Hybrid Position
Children's Wellness Center of Colorado, PLLC (CWCC) is a group private practice that serves children, adolescents, their parents/caregivers, and adults without children. We seek to serve multiple family members in one location to reduce barriers to treatment. We are a fun, dynamic, and collaborative group of clinicians who value working collaboratively and helping improve the health and wellness of our clients.
The Psychotherapist role provides outpatient individual and group therapy as well as assessment to clients of Children's Wellness Center of Colorado, PLLC. CWCC has 2 locations in Colorado: Centennial and Castle Rock. This position would split time between both offices. Clinical therapy services include treatment of children, adolescents, adults and family therapy (for purposes of treating the individual) as well as group therapy. Treatment specialties include: play therapy, trauma, EMDR, domestic violence, sexual abuse/sexual assault, child abuse/neglect, and other family dynamics. We also conduct a variety of assessments which are part of the duties of Full-Time Clinicians at Children’s Wellness Center of Colorado, PLLC.
Reports to: Owners and/or Direct Supervisor.
Minimum Qualification Requirements:
- Master’s Degree or higher in counseling or social work; and
- Active, unrestricted license or provisional license (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LPCC, LSW, SWC) in the State of Colorado. *No MFTC*
- Available for at least 25 therapy hours per week (typically 53+ min sessions) or a combination of 18-20 therapy hours per week and 2 assessments per month, at minimum for full-time status.
- Willingness to comply with Medicaid insurance documentation requirements as designated by the practice.
Other Qualification Preferences:
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills and a desire to collaborate both internally and with external entities, as needed
- Timeliness with paperwork and documentation
- Self-motivated
- Team player/Collaborator
- Experience with Department of Human Services or other system involved work
Hours:
Work hours and schedule may vary depending on client and Children's Wellness Center of Colorado, PLLC needs. Hours include a minimum of 3 evenings (3-7pm) or 2 evenings and 1 weekend day (Saturday or Sunday). Therapist is not guaranteed a minimum number of clients or sessions per week, however, it is expected that Psychotherapist will be able to combine therapy hours (individual, group and family sessions) with assessment hours following initial training and onboarding to maintain full-time status. Client sessions are held in the offices of Children's Wellness Center of Colorado, PLLC or remotely if the client is clinically appropriate for Telehealth sessions.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform on-site or telehealth clinical counseling services to patients of Children's Wellness Center of Colorado, PLLC, as scheduled, and in accordance with company policies.
- Regular and reliable attendance and timely arrival to work is required.
- Be properly licensed and abide by all laws, rules, regulations, and codes of ethics that are binding upon or applicable to the services performed for Children's Wellness Center of Colorado, PLLC.
- Respond to clients’ requests for service or calls within 24 hours whether such requests are made in person, by phone, voicemail, etc. or through the Children's Wellness Center of Colorado, PLLC website. Respond to such requests by meeting, evaluating, and providing services to such clients.
- Communicate with a client’s treatment team (i.e., PCP, psychiatrist, school, DHS, etc.) as necessary.
- Timely complete written records for each client including, but not limited to: intake notes, progress notes, treatment plans, termination notes, contract notes, and other forms or documents which may be needed or required from time-to-time by Children's Wellness Center of Colorado, PLLC or third parties in conjunction with the treatment of the client within 24 hours of the session occurring. Keep client files accurate and up to date. Complete assessments within timelines as required.
- Charge and collect payments from patients for services provided consistent with the policy and rate for such services as established by Children's Wellness Center of Colorado, PLLC.
- Attend mandatory team meetings, supervision and training as directed by Children's Wellness Center of Colorado, PLLC.
- Conduct and regulate counseling services in a professional manner so as to maintain and increase the good will and reputation of Children's Wellness Center of Colorado, PLLC. Be respectful of, cooperative and collaborative with coworkers.
- Other duties, which may by assigned by Children's Wellness Center of Colorado, PLLC.
This is an hourly position starting at a clinical rate of $45.00-$50.00/hour, depending on licensure status, with an admin fee of $20.00 for non-clinical tasks. Assessments are paid per each assessment. Benefits include 401K, medical (premiums paid 50% by company for employee only), dental, life insurance, FAMLI, sick time and PTO.
