Macie Pope, LPCC
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate with a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Denver. I work with children, adolescents, young adults, and adults navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and other challenges that can impact daily life and relationships.
I believe that everyone has the capacity to heal, and therapy can provide a supportive space to discover what that looks like for each individual. My priority is creating a safe, collaborative environment where you feel understood, supported, and empowered to make meaningful changes at your own pace. My approach is calm, grounding, and tailored to each client's unique needs rather than following a one-size-fits-all model. I primarily draw from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Person-Centered Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), while working from a multicultural and trauma-informed perspective. When working with children I also utilize child centered play therapy to facilitate healing using the same techniques in a different language.
Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy writing music, camping, and trying new recipes in the kitchen.
